Terms of Service

Last updated: 19 April 2026

1. Who we are

Seedling is operated by Sébastien Tang, a French micro-entrepreneur (individual freelance business) registered in France under SIREN 898 194 394, with registered activity address at 69 avenue du Général Leclerc, 95250 Beauchamp, France. In these Terms, "Seedling", "we", "our", and "us" refer to that operator. "You" refers to the person or business using the Seedling service at useseedling.com.

2. What Seedling does

Seedling generates SEO-oriented blog articles and images using third-party AI services, then delivers those articles to you via email, dashboard download, GitHub commit, or other supported channels for you to review, edit, and publish. Seedling does not publish on your behalf or guarantee search-engine rankings.

3. Your account and the beta

Seedling is currently in a whitelist-only closed beta. We may grant or withdraw access to the service at our sole discretion during the beta period. You are responsible for the security of your account credentials and for all activity under your account.

4. Subscription, billing, cancellation

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. You may cancel at any time from the Settings page; your access continues until the end of the current billing period. We do not issue pro-rated refunds for partial months unless required by applicable law.

Prices are quoted in US dollars and are exclusive of any applicable taxes. As a French micro-entrepreneur, Seedling operates under the VAT exemption regime (franchise en base de TVA, art. 293 B du CGI); invoices therefore do not charge French VAT. Stripe collects any sales tax, VAT, or GST required by the buyer's jurisdiction on our behalf where applicable.

5. Content ownership

You own the articles and images Seedling generates for you. We claim no rights over your output. You are responsible for reviewing generated content for accuracy, legality, and brand fit before publishing it. AI-generated text may contain factual errors and AI-generated images may reflect the training data of the upstream model; do not publish content you have not reviewed.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Seedling to:

7. Third-party services

Seedling relies on Anthropic (article generation), kie.ai / Nano Banana (image generation), Cloudflare (hosting, storage, delivery), Resend (email), and Stripe (payments). Outages or policy changes at these providers may affect the service. Where you connect your own GitHub account for delivery, you grant Seedling the scopes necessary to commit to the repositories you designate.

8. Availability and warranty

During the beta, Seedling is provided as-is and as-available without any uptime commitment or warranty of fitness for a particular purpose. We will make reasonable efforts to keep the service running but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or lost-profit damages, including damages resulting from content you published based on Seedling output.

10. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling from Settings or by emailing support. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required by law. On termination, we will retain your account data as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be announced by email to active subscribers at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of France, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the service will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tribunal de commerce de Pontoise (France), except that mandatory consumer-protection rights granted by the law of your place of residence (including, where applicable, other European Union member states) remain unaffected.
